"I don't need eyewear, doc!"

Recommended Posts

Quite a few recent Transformers are sporting visors with eyes behind them these days, and I was wondering how to safely remove them from each figure.  The guys I can think of are

Landmine and Landquake

Bulkhead and Quickstrike

Alt Swindle

Alt Jazz

Alt Windcharger

Any help?

I can only speak for the Alternators and Bulkhead, but you might, just might want to start by taking the head apart via the screws that hold the pieces together, then reassembling the head with the visor piece.

and swindle doesn't have eyes behind the visor, they are molded into the purple plastic.

Huh, Swindle's vision is a no go? then?  Poo.  And in the case of Bulkhead, I did look inside, and saw how the visor was a seperate piece...but it looked glued in.

just pop it off.  the amount of glue is comparable to a pinhead.  It'll fix back in place and hold its place by tension if you want to put it back.

Jazz and windcharger are easy, just take the screws out of the back of the head and you will see the inside piece of the visor, use a flathead screwdriver and push againsts it genly and it should get unhooked and you can just pull the front part out.

No idea about bulkhead, or swindle though.
