Alternator Red Alert is an Acura Integra?!

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this is a repost, but I just noticed this. Anybody else hear about this before?

Alt. Red alert?!

As of posting this, none of the pictures work. Any comments?

Yes! the first time was a month ago in TRU.com and the 2nd in the News and rumors section about 6 hours ago. before I post news worthy info like this, I always check there 1st :thumb

For the other folks who haven't gone there, this news has been discredited. It could happen but this is most likely an error by hasbro. Redalert is proven just to be a place holder name for the red box Alt Prowl...........for now.

Red box Prowl? He's being released in the newer style box as well, then?

I don't know if you knew this or not but the TRU.com listing was changed to Prowl shortly after it came up.

I was wondering about that, because Prowl IS listed there now, and Red alert's seperate. Pretty sloppy if no one bothered to remove it.

I'm really doubtful that this is a new release. I think it's a placeholder for Prowl or something. I hope not, but it probably is.

To get an idea of possible future Alts, just examine the toy car isle.  If you look closely, you'll notice that for the most part it's the same twenty or so cars licensed over and over for different toy lines. I'm doubtful too that this is a new release
