You know most shows, movies, or books you can always attribute to a crator and follow their other projects or talk about how great they are (like Anno from Evangelion or Orson Wells and Citizen Kane), but Transformers doesn't have a REAL creator does it?  Is there anyone you attribute to the creation of Transformers and follow their other work?

The only ones I can think of that I respect are Bob Forward and Larry Ditillo, the creators of Beast Wars, other then that, I can't think of anyone from G1....

The closest thing would be Bob Budiansky, he came up with names and bios for most of the G1 characters and wrote most of the first half of the Marvel US Transformers comic.

The people who brought the actual characters to life -- Cullen and Welker are the obvious names, along with the other voice actors who probably deserve as much individual name recognition, but there are also numerous other unnamed writers, key animators, and less celebritized individuals and teams all just as deserving.  Sometimes a great creation just falls together as the culmination of the work of many different people, be they at Hasbro or Takara or having long left.
