Considering selling my old TF's

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I'm considering selling my old Transformers to fund my new interests in the Alternator line and also some Macross models (Yamato 1/48's and 1/72's).

Here's what I have. All are in pretty good shape except Laserbeak and Rumble. All are originals, not re-issues:

Brawl -tank from Bruticus

Ciffjumper

Cyclonus

First Aid - ambulance from Protectobots

Grimlock

Hot Rod

Hucap (looks like a yellow Cliffjumper)

Laserbeak

Lots of booklets

Menasor

Outback

Razor Claw - Lion from Predaking

Rodimus Prime

Rumble

Runamuck

Skywarp

Superion

Tracks

Ultra Magnus

Wreck Gar

How would I go about getting price estimates for these?

Thanks,

Kuzushi

ps. I can take pics if ppl are interested, but it may take a while

I would say go ebay and looking up the toy one at a time and see what they are going for (adjust for condition). Also it is best to sell them one at a time or in small lots to get the most for them. ToyFare gives prices but generally people are not willing to pay what they lest them for. Also what condition is your Cyclonus in and is he complete (I only buy C9 or better near mint stickers and all).

I'm not sure what C9 means.

But my Cyclonus is in pretty good condition. It's not perfect, but the figure isn't broken or scratched or anything. The stickers show just a little bit of wear. It's hardly been played with. It is complete, even w/ the manual and tech specs.

As I said before, all of these are originals from the 80's. As I was taking pics of them, most of the joints were tight. However, some joints of a few of the bots were a bit looser - mostly due I think to the original design just having floppy joints rather than being stiff to begin with. Everything is in pretty good condition.

I just finished taking some pics, you can find them at http://photos.yahoo.com/stuffett

for larger pics of cyclonus:

If you are interested, make me an offer - I've gone and researched the prices and think I have an idea for the amounts that what I want for them.

Thanks,

Steve

Why don't you post your for sale list in the end cap section with prices? If you don't know the current market prices go research on Seibertron, and ebay. Posting your items for sale on the end cap will ensure people will know you have something for sale. Good luck! :thumb

I'm not sure what C9 means.

It a way of saying what condition the toy is in. Goes from C1-C10. Your toy would be a C8.5 (do to little purple showing on the ears). Well I just whanted to get back to you about the toy. I would very much be interested but I have run into some money woes that need to take priority, and don't know how long they will last. Thanks for getting back to me and sorry about not being able to get him (I really did want him). Like Maximus said put the toys in the end cap people will definitely be interested in Transformers like these. Thanks and good luck :thumb
