Now, as a disclaimer, I have yet to see any of the new cartoons since Beast Wars/Machines so forgive me if I'm out of contact of what's going on story wise. Perhaps they've shown up in the show or quite possibly not.

This is just somewhat of a desperate plea with Hastakomy to somehow bring the loveable little animal beings BACK into the Transformers universe.

Think about it: They could be the inhabitants that were already ON Animatros before the Transformers showed up. They were somehow forced into little "reservations" or put to work hordeing energon then reappear later on to help out the now needful Autobots in exchange for freedom.

Even if it's just a way for Hastakomy to sell new toys based upon the old ones I'd like to see such a thing happen. I loved those kickass toys...

Neat idea (one that I could see being explored had a comic been made);

But it ain't happening.  Battle Beasts remain a largely forgotten piece of TF lore and Hasbro/Tomy have no real reason to explore them again.

Plus the fact they're done working on Cybertron doesn't help matters :P

Well at least hasbro could try to revive those little buggers. the M.U.S.C.L.E. line got a small revamp so why not the BB?

:schin ... Now see, that's an avenue I never would have thought of. Yet, alas, like you said:

it ain't happening.

Comic books now-a-days don't seem to hold sway with a large section of fans like it did back in the good ole' times. For awhile the industry did cater to us fans by bringing back G.I. Joe and Transformers and a few others. But as soon as interest dies down *poof* comic disappears.

Perhaps one of the guys who does the fan comics for those conventions is reading and might think this is a good idea to bring into the TransUniverse ONCE AGAIN so they aren't forgotten.

Yeah yeah... I know. But with the way I keep hearing that the previous series and this one are the "same" yet "different" maybe there is a way for the next series to expand in more areas to include such forgotten realms of the Transformers and company... :)

:redface Gods, I had a lot of those guys too while as a child. Still have them stored somewhere along with the NES game.

Completely forgot about them getting a revamped series. This kind of lends some credibility to my wacky idea. If a weird-ass toy line such as THAT could get a new face lift for the 21st century then why not something that had some close ties to a popular brand name getting one also?

Thanks for reading y'all and, please, if you want to keep this going, do so. :thumb I'll stop this small questioning if there isn't interest so that we may move onto other discussions... just to be decent. :D

Later!
