Really? I've had the opposite experience (in general)...most of those Photoshopped first images and up looking way different than the actual toy, color-wise.

This most likely isn't the final product...the head isn't remolded in the pic, and that was one of the new features w/ this reissue. Takara also Photoshops alot of their initial pics.

i'd still rather have Anime Galvatron, who is 95% show accurate, than the original colored version.

He's starting to grow on me and Ill def get him but man do I wish Hasbro would release him here so he could own the Japanese version again (Energon Galvatron > SL Galvatron G)

its not that bad. Better then the original by far.

If i recall the RM SkyWarp had pink wings even in the magazine shots but on the release it was purple maybe the same thing is going on here

I think it is a horriblly INaccurate and ugly color...so not the right color purple...his upper legs should still have been grey as well. I was thinking more of a color like Cyclonus or somewhere inbetween scourge and cyclonus. I am more then happy with my Original mib galvatron. He may not be show accurate, but if this IS what the show accurate one is going to look like...then neither is THIS one. Being more show accurate because it has some shade of purple dosnt make it better. The original is a lot less ugly. Oh and the head is slightly different, mainly they eyes, chin and crown which has paint applications now instead of stickers.
