Me thinks me agree (especially considering I was willing to pay $500 for the proto that Bainbreese won on ebay).

 

I will probably get the GF version (feeling pretty safe that it will be out first, and have all the paint apps, which is not guaranteed in the Cyb release, although they are both highly likely to be the same) and possibly get the Cybertron version later if it does have something cool that come w/ it (plus why not have 2? I mean, it is CYBERTRON after all).

 

Can't wait to get my hands on this bad boy.

Well, my closest Target last year overstocked on Omega Supreme and Sentinel and I caught some for $19.99 2 weeks or so after Christmas. There's a comparable pile of Giant Starscreams now- hoping to catch him and maybe later a Primus for something a lot less than $50. I might not wait past $30 just in case.

Damn, really? I never saw any Omega Sentinels around here. I guess I just looked at the wrong times. As it turns out, I'm looking for one now. Got an extra one? lol

 

And to keep it on topic, I can't wait for this toy to come out. I saw him at BotCon and was hooked ever since.  :tfgrin

Not sure if the name was revealed at Botcon, but it seems like the Cybertron repaint will be 'Dark Crunplezone'.(?)

 

Lets hope Hasbro never loose the rights to 'Galvatron' otherwise every 18 months The Decepticons will be lead by 'Dark Megatron'

There is a very good reason why Hasbro is releasing something special with their Primus.

I didn't win him.  I got him on a side deal after the auction was taken down by ebay.  And,...I know of at least one other that is floating around out there.

 

And as you, I will probably have both a GF and a Cybertron one when it's all done.

I knew that, I was paying pretty close attention to the auction after all. It was pulled from ebay at the request of the manufacturer and then you got hooked up on a side deal w/ someone I am assuming is a pretty good friend (if they weren't before the deal, I would hope they are now. Sweet deal!!!) Didn't know there was another one out there, unless you mean the one that they displayed at Botcon, etc. Does some other collector have a proto?

 

Either way, can't wait to get me a Primus. The sooner the better me thinks.

Do you have any idea what the reason would be, besides the fact that all the die-hard collectors who are sure to buy a Primus will probably go ahead and buy the earlier released GF Primus thereby depriving Hasbro of a sure sale.

 

If the extra is good enough, I might buy the Hasbro version also and give the figure to my nephew (keeping the extra for myself of course).

 

Anyway, any thoughts? Insider info? Feel free to share.
