Why not some stickers designed to make G2 figures look more G1.

 

I mean, aside from just the faction symbols, real replacement stickers.

 

Kinda G1 1/2.

 

The G2 figures are reasonably priced, generally, and it would be cool to have some decent stickers for them, especially the repaints like Sideswipe.

Well... :schin ... you said any ideas, so here goes mine: Removable stickers made up to look like mud. With the "announcement" of "Optimus Prime" being a Dodge truck, Swindle and Hound being Jeeps and Smokescreen being a Rally Racer it'd be a fitting set of stickers for such Alts. It'd extend to the others also, but the figures mentioned are the only ones I know of that'd get messy in an everyday fashion.

 

They'd need to be done up like those clingy sticker sheets you'd find in the $0.50 machines that way they wouldn't tear any paint off or rip apart too easily, are easily reapplied to the sheet or the vehicle and are easy enough to trim for custom fitting.

 

If such a thing could be pulled off then an alternate set could be done by switching colors a bit: BLOOD STAINS! Yes... I'm a morbid bastard. :D But, seriously, there'd be others who might purchase such a seperate set of gore. Imagine your Alt. hit an animal while in pursuit of a bad guy/good guy or there was a major fight with some resisting humans who didn't quite like the characters plans for world domination. :thumb

I really liked the 'Con Hot Rod & Police Jazz sets. Seen as loads of the G1 re-issues are going cheap now, here are some random ideas:

 

 

Fire-Chief Hot Rod?

 

Stepper/Ricochet-style flames for white Jazz?

 

Black hood for Silverstreak?

 

Custom stickers to make the 'Con Seeker Jets look like Aerialbots?

 

"Le Mans" stickers for G1 Tracks?

 

Flames for Skids, now that the Alt Scion is on the way?

 

More custom sets for the Minibots?

Hood-flames for Windcharger?

Police stickers for Tailgate?

 

"G2" stickers for the G1 dudes that didn't get the treatment. Sideswipe & Jazz got funky/camp designs for G2. How about giving Smokescreen, Prowl, Hoist, etc some groovy/trippy stickers? (After we get G2 Jazz stickers - long overdue!)

Why? Because I'd like to know if anybody else's ideas were taken into account and might be produced. :D

 

And also wondering if I'm just going to have to contact these guys direct to see if my mud/blood stains thought is feasible for just me if others don't want clingy stickers.

I definitely want g1 style Alt. Smokescreen labels.  I need those
