Transformers Still Good For Hasbro

Recommended Posts

The company said game sales grew 7 percent. Revenue from U.S. toys climbed 6 percent on sales of its "Star Wars" products and its Furby, Nerf, Transformers, Playskool and Littlest Pet Shop brands.

doesn't surprise me. TF's are a market niche. they're the only american toyline that consists of transforming robots. now in japan, transforming robot toys are a dime a dozen(just look at Gundam Seed Destiny) so TF's have a harder time standing out.

and just wait until the next gen game systems come out. they'll be so ridiculously expensive that most parents will refuse to buy them for their kids so the kids will have to go back to buying actionfigures :P

Just a question, Noriko, are you using a translator or something, since some sentences are clear and others well not so clear.

Edit: never mind, i didnt read that you live in los angeles lol:redface  :redface  :redface

Oh, and this looks like good news, even the next-gen console thing seems plausible.

All your base are belong to us.

Agreed.

I'm glad to hear the TF line is doing well.  Cybertron is a huge step in the right direction, imo.  I'd like for them to go back to G1, but I really think "toy tech" has advanced beyond all that.  With that being said, Cybertron really seems to be the natural (positive) progression of things.  I never got big into the Alternators, but that was a great thing, too.
