The Lees all the way. They knew the company was going down the crapper and they still went ahead with another War Within title.

I need closure! :tfmad

Beast Machine had its potential, but instead of using that opportunity to delve into Cybertron's history and the fate of some of the G1 characters, Isenberg and Skir concentrated WAAYYY too much on the New Age philosphy they were trying to preach. Hell, whatever happened to the Tripredicus council? What happened to Unicron's head that was orbiting Cybertron? Whatever happened to the Autobot Matrix of Leadership? Those two slipped up REALLY bad, much worse than the Lee brothers.

Did Anyone Ever watch Season three? Unicron's head was knocked out of rbit by Explosives, and the Matrix was Drained when it was used against the Hate Pluage. the Tripredacus concel was killed by Megatron's virus.

I personally liked both the DW comics I read and the Beast Machines show so I don`t hate either of them. For in the words of Wraith Verge: The only true disgrace in not having tryed at all. Having said that I do agree with Satanstorm that the Beast Machines show had way more potential than they seemed to be allowed to go into. They did seem to try to delve into Cybertronian history but everytime they started to they got attacked or had some other new problem. While the Lees obviously didn`t budget well and thus lost their business. I don`t hate either team but I do think that both could have done better jobs of working with what they had. So I didn`t vote since there wasn`t an option I agreed with.

Lee Brothers without a doubt.  I don't see how people can say that what Bob Skir and Marty Isenberg did is "much worse than the Lee brothers."  They didn't say 'Powerglide you' to employees.  Yes, they went in a radical direction, but it doesn't match the ultimate Powerglide up of the Lee Brothers.

I can tell you right now that I crave for the days of Beast Machines, especially after these last 5 years or so.  And I think most people today will agree that they'll take BM over what we have been getting.  Even if the end of BM is not what they wanted.  Atleast the story telling wasn't 'dumb'.

this is just kindling for a "i hate bm" thread. once and for all, we know the majority of people disliked bm. as for someone who really liked bm, its getting a little tiresome.

Seriously. How long ago did BM air? Five years? People are still acting like it was the worst moment of the fandom.

Well actually it was, but only b/c of how the fans conducted themselves.

the Lee brothers...they built our hopes up and then stabbed the fans AND the emplyees in teh back...not to mention never really FINISHED ANYTHING

I would say them but I love their books and now IDW is trying to continue it. I don't have a Problem with BM either, story wise. Now Techno organic morphing drove me wild.

I'm not crazy about the morphing either, but the flashy light thingies made it look kinda cool.

this isn't about liking the DW comics, the Lees are not writers. If you like the comics that's fine. But do you like the Lees considering the kind of "business" they do.

actually this is secretly a "I hate the Lees" thread.

Fair enough.

DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNN

:tflaugh

The Lees had some great ideas, but no business sense to support those ideas. That lack of business knowledge left a bunch of unfinished stories, leaving everyone to suffer to some extent (except themselves). For that, they should be NUTZOR'D w/ Swordy.
