It has been confirmed by joel at bigbadtoystore that swerve will be replaced by tracks. This is the email I recieved

 

Hi - I've just received corrected information from Hasbro, on the recent Alternator 'case' pre-order you made with us, the case will contain Skids, Sunstreaker, Prowl as scheduled, but the Corvette Swerve (red) will be replaced with the Corvette Tracks (blue) - if you no longer want this case of figures just drop me a reply, if the you would like to keep the order open we'll do so automatically, no need to reply.  Sorry for the confusion on this item!

oh, but i don't want blue Tracks anymore now that Hasbro is actually making him availible. now i want Swerve because Hasbro made him rare.

you can evilbay it for 60+ and i fig they'd replace swerve with tracks, too bad we won't get the yellow, but atleast i can get my mom tracks to go along with the rest of her vette collection

Well I'm not really surprised. The person in this thread, http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/thread83469.html, was able to take a screencap of a page of listings with a pic of a MISB Tracks in new packaging. Although he couldn't get the fullsized pic since the auction was taken down.

I got both corvettes.  Now for the rest....(sigh)....maybe later.

I've had Tracks since last year, I need Swerve damnit!

I thought about just keeping the case preordered so I wouldn't have to look for the other 3, but decided against it.  I'm almost to the point where I'm only going to get a new alt if I find it.  No more of this going out of the way / paying more than retail for it bullBlot.
