Binaltech Prowl from BT-Red Alert and Alt.Prowl

Recommended Posts

This is my second kitbash, Binaltech Prowl, made from Binaltech Red alert with Alt. Prowl's head, hands and lightbar.  A lot of the red has been removed with 70% alcohol, but I couldn't get all the red off his thighs and had to take the ones here from Alt. Smokescreen.

The vehicle mode is pretty much the same as before, but with a different lightbar.  I'm not going to transform him for a picture of that until I'm sure he's completely dry.  The hands were pretty much copied from Hellopike's unnamed bash of Alt. Prowl, so I hope he's not pissed.  I haven't seen those hands on a Subaru before, at least.

If anybody wants AI - the driver that came with Red alert - I'm getting rid of her and the box.  PM me.

*edit* AI is gone now.

Looks pretty good...I would probably do the same thing if I hadn't already made my own Alternators Prowl...like 90% of us kitbashers...hahahaha

I love the "gloved" hands look, and I've never seen the Alt Prowl hands used on the Subarus...they look cool!

The only thing I don't like is the Alt Prowl head on that body...the weird white color of the head just doesn't look right with the white on the body...I'd grab a Smokescreen or Silverstreak head and paint that sucker white and slap it on...

Here's the picture of his alt more with Alt.Prowl's lightbar instead of the one that came with BT-Red alert.  The only different is that the center light is painted silver/grey, while that was previously all red and looked like one big piece.  The nightstick is just sitting in the back seat, since I have nowhere else to put it.

***problem with switching heads***

I did run into one problem after the transformation through. Alt.Prowl's head sits a bit higher on the ball joint and the part that makes the front wheels turn together no longer sits level.  Goodbye better-than-average gimmick.

those gloved hands really make a big difference, kinda sad how many of us made our own prowl only for it to be made later but of course they ruined the potential, none the less good work minion the swapped parts really work well

I been waitint too long to see this and I like it!
