Well, if you really wanted to get screamer for a bargain, you could scam during the TRU Buy 2 get one free sale...all that is required is one reciept for a previously bought Megatron, and the purchase of TWO Starscreams, and you get Megs for free.

 

Then return Megs with the aformentioned receipt.

Then return one of the Starscreams.

 

BAM! Supreme Screamer for $13.89-23.89!

 

And that's if it even worked.

 

It's a super scam, and as tempted as I was, I can't bring myself to actually do it. Even after I tried to justify it by saying to myself "he's basically an oversized Voyager figure", I couldn't.

 

Better yet, you could have just got 3 Starscreams, sell 2 of them on ebay and kept the one you got free.

 

Even if you sell the Screamers for a little less than the shelf price you still end up with a great deal.  :thumb  Best of all...no guilty conscious!

Yeah, it was a pretty stupid idea. Too bad the TRU sale ended today because Madman's idea was the most logical and best idea...and the most moral idea.

 

I don't know what I was thinking...while I was busy thinking up that stupid scam artist idea, I could've just picked up 3 Screamers and sold the other two on ebay for $52.99 a piece (that's would've included the shipping as well) and ended up only paying like $20 for my Starscream.

I may finally pick up Jetfire then...

I actually got Overdrive, Dirtboss and Redalert for the buy 2 get 1 sale...REally liked Dirtboss and LOVE Redalert...and no remorse for Overdrive at all (unlike Thundercracker...)

I ended up getting my kid Override for now, and bought/stashed in the closet Red alert for his b'day and Dirt Boss for Christmas.

 

If I had the cash I'd have gotten Screamer and Prime with a free Megs. But nonesuch.

 

I also saw 4 Alt Ravages and considered getting 3 and selling all 3 on Ebay for profit.

i wish i had seen 2 primes at TRU and would have bought both and sold a megatron and would have paid $20 for both primes... but never saw 2 at 1 store.

 

the target sale doesn't seem overly sweet... but still, if you were going to buy prime, $5 less is a nice treat.
