Hasbro Panel Report - New Series Proposed

Recommended Posts

Hmmm....interesting possibility.  However, I don't see why they'd bother to run a 'filler line' for the 5-6 month gap between the end of Cybertron and the Movie.  Doesn't seem like it would be worth it IMO.

Unless it leads INTO the Movie......

Can't wait until some right wing nut with nothing better to do launches a trumped up suit against Hasbro for making an unrealistic yet somehow 'dangerous' toy gun/robot.

:roll

actually it's the LEFT wing nuts that hate guns and who whine about toy guns.  :roll

sounds like it could be the movie toon. this is good news. especially if they release it the same time globaly (and talk to hasbro uk about taking their heads out their arses and releasing all the toys at the same time as everywhere else.)

if for the car modes they do something like scaled down versions of the alts, that would be awesome

because there are over 60 episodes (just using G1 seasons 1 & 2) ready to air on TV in  2007. And because Tatsunoko Productions has been chomping at the bit to do a G1 project since Takara bought them earlier this year, so they could easily get a second set of 50 some episodes ready to air in the US & Japan in 2008. If they go that direction.

Actually that would be Left wing.

Right Wingers are pro NRA and avid 2nd amendment advocates.

The lefties are for more gun control and PC (political correctness.) I can’t believe that anyone would accuse the right of being anti-gun.

BTW this news rocks! I want a realistic Starscream.

In different countries, left and right wing  mean different things........ I never said

this (hypothetical) person would be an American.

Either way, it's semantics.

I'd kinda like to see 'him' with the extensions too.  I know they have minimal add on value really, but if it's going to be a tribute......

No way they use old G1 episodes.

I here ya. Sorry for getting all political on you  :tflaugh

I hope we do get a megatron gun. The Judge Dread idea could work for me. As much as I loved g1 Megatron (the best ever IMO) his gun mode made it absolutely impossible to have a show accurate bot mode toy, simply because it made no logical sense.

But I hope they keep the overall look of his G1 self and ditch these rainbow bright Megatrons.

And an hour ago there was no way they'd make Megs a gun either.  :tftongue

This is a PROPOSAL.  Don't forget that.  Hasbro won't use a 20 year old show to sell a new line of toys.

There won't be a show for this filler line whatever it turns out to be. Over at TFW2005 there more info about this line and the future of TFs.
