haven't been able to find any pics of the new optimus primal or megatron from the 10th bw anaversery series. does any one have pics, or were they not shown?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

There were pics shown, but no actual bots.  And because the pics were in the Archer panel, we weren't allowed to take pictures.

Did any one ask about Walmart and Alts?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yes, the letter we all so was true.  They will begin carrying again with repacked case packs in Spring and new and old figures released.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So just to clarify, This is way more fun that "ask Vector Prime", Walmart will be getting cases of just 1 single Alt at a time?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No, Hasbro has changed the way it packs Alternators per Walmart and other customers requests.  They can now order solid case packs of characters.  That doesn't mean they will only have one character at a time.  It just means that they will be able to pick and choose which characters sell best for them.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So this means that Kickback was WRONG when he said the post from an alleged walmart employee was dead wrong?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yes it does and I told all you guys that back then.  Based on my experience in the Retail/Wholsale world(15 years of Buying and inventory management for 1-250 stores) and dealing with Walmart and Vendors,....everything about that letter screamed legitimate.  There was several things about that letter that someone outside the "buying" communitee could not have articulated in that "speek".

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

And if Walmart said "Do this or we will stop selling your stuff" Hasbro would say "anything master" as most of walmarts suppliers do ;)

Here's one for tomorrow.

Was any indication given about the smaller bot modes that the Giant Planet characters were rumored to have?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yes, the "Brute" as the fans have named it, was mentioned by Archer during the panel.  Basically going from Leader Class down one size.  Jag gave a picture of this in his review of the proto.

Awsome to hear Hasbro is finally getting there act together reguarding Alt distribution. My question is does this ring true for the rest of the world IE Canada or just the States. I've heard rumours of Grimlock, and the Decep repaints shopwing up occassionally but aside from the original four releases being Smokescreen, Silverstreak, Sideswipe, and Hound I've seen absolutely nothing. It's saved me a bundle, but missing out on so many fantastic TFs is really frustrating as it is for others. :tdown

Also reguarding the  Optimus Primal, and Trex Megatron remolds. I assume these will be exclusive only to the first season before everyone becomes mechanical. Also did Archer specify what sze class these should? Personally I'm hoping for leader class. Also you had said the 10th aniversery BWs figs are several stages beyond what thy presented. Does this mean the show accuracy of said figures will improve, and will each be given show accurate weaponry? Lastly I know it wasn't mentioned anywhere unless I missed it but what are the chances of seeing a first season show accurate Black Arachnia? I would so buy that. :thumb

Great to hear you're enjoying yourself over at Botcon 2005 and thanks ever so much for taking the time to answer questions and put to rest so much speculation reguarding TFs in General. Thanks also SFC and others who have brought the Botcon experience to the rest of the forum.

cheers. :beer

I second that. Thanks to everyone here who has taken the time to answer all our questions and bring us the pics of all of the fantastic things that we have to look forward to in the next year...I feel as if I'm right there with you guys, so thanks.

No, they won't as one of the first molds to be released in the series will be Transmetal Rattrap.

Also did Archer specify what sze class these should?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

He didn't specify, but the Rhinox and Cheetor molds shown were Deluxe size.

Unsure about the weaponry, but on all the figures we saw, they were much more show accurate than the originals.

You are very welcome.

A question: BR, I read elsewhere on the boards that you said that Hasbro's Hot Rod repaint will have black tires and the flame deco (basically be super accurate to G1 HR). I did read that right, didn't I?

Yep, and you probably also read in those posts that I'm eating crow on that one big time.  If you didn't...let me state it again...with a mouth full of feathers.  I'm eating crow....and looking at my $100 Exillion and weeping.  Heh.

yup that settles it i'm giving away my hot shot for the rodimus coming soon, my cousin is so lucky to have a cousin like me  :thumb  what's up with them. also will it be just bw or bm included

Only Beast Wars stuff was talked about.  The question of whether it would include Beast Machines never came up.  So you can't say one way or the other.

ok thanks for the info, i guess i'll wait for the pics to leak out on everything that wasn't pic, the ones that really peak my interest are the bw since we've seen the op and mirage, did you get to see rollbar and ricochette/stepper because i know i spelled that one right
