Override/Nitro Convoy's show model is pretty androgynous.  Yeah, it's got broad shoulders, but the angles of the face are softened and a bit more feminine compared to the toy, and the limbs look a bit more lithe, too.

 

But remember, Hasbro's the one that does the majority of the design work/character concepts, so any discrepancies between what Takara does and what Hasbro does is likely due to Takara taking liberties, not Hasbro.

so sunstreaker is the only one of the BTA's coming over? did they announce any other recolors/new molds besides mirage, rollbar, prime?

We only saw pictures and those only briefly, but if my memory serves me, they were the same pictures as was posted online.  It was interesting because Prime was actually a colored shot indicating he was further along than Mirage, yet they only actually displayed Mirage as of today.  Possible they could show Prime tomorrow.

Ant actually the Optimus Prime shown was a painted hardcopy as opposed to a test shot so there is nothing specifically to indicate their procuction stage.  I was happy to see Mirage unpainted as after Hasbro paints the hardcopies the look wierd and are seemingly unposable like when they showed Prowl.

No, Hasbro has changed the way it packs Alternators per Walmart and other customers requests.  They can now order solid case packs of characters.  That doesn't mean they will only have one character at a time.  It just means that they will be able to pick and choose which characters sell best for them.

Yes, the "Brute" as the fans have named it, was mentioned by Archer during the panel.  Basically going from Leader Class down one size.  Jag gave a picture of this in his review of the proto.

Yes it does and I told all you guys that back then.  Based on my experience in the Retail/Wholsale world(15 years of Buying and inventory management for 1-250 stores) and dealing with Walmart and Vendors,....everything about that letter screamed legitimate.  There was several things about that letter that someone outside the "buying" communitee could not have articulated in that "speek".
