New police interceptor on the market:

Recommended Posts

ConsumerAffairs.com recently announced that Dodge would begin marketing the Charger

as a police interceptor vehicle. This would end the Crown Vic's monopoly on the market. But more importanly, it gives kitbashers a better-looking Prowl!

I can't wait to get pulled over by one of these...hahahaha

I don't know about a better-looking Prowl though...

hahahaha...serioulsy though, the Charger is a "bad" (in a good way) lookin' cop car...

yeah in the movie THE ISLAND the charger police cars they had looked effing awsome, charger police cars make me want to become a cop lol

was it a charger or a chryslter 300? i remember seeing the chrystler symbol on the back of the car but then i saw the charger police cars on a tv show im not sure which ones they were

Around here, the majority of police vehicles are actually Chevy Impalas.  There are a few Crown Vics throughout the state, but I go weeks at a time without seeing any.  The unmarked cop car in town is a dark red Dodge Intrepid.  I used to really like that car, back when I was 19 or so.  I've heard of people being pulled over by Mitsubishi Eclipses, and a friend of mine from GA says his town's PD uses Chevy SS'!  Imagine being chased down by a Camaro.

Anyway, that would make for a nasty Prowl custom, the Charger.  I still think the Crossfire (another DC vehicle) is better looking, though.
