Red alert will be the first Subaru-bot that I keep in vehicle mode, which is ironic seeing how the packaging changed to accomodate bot-mode. I do like the look of the "cop" car (I know it is supposed to be a fire chiefs car or something, but it looks much more like a police car to me), good detailing and color.

Wow these look incredible, straight repaints or not. Sunstreakers bot mode just looks so much better than the Alt. Does anyone think that IF Hasbro makes a Red alert that it could possibly come with a new head sculpt? Or will alert probably be a BT exclusive?

Even the worst BT's are still some of my very favourite toys.......

 

 

But this figure gimmick ticks me off.  +  $5.00 for a figure that probably cost Takra 50 cents to make  +  more shipping becasue of larger box.

 

I can't imagine Sunstreaker being willing to carry a human around with him.

 

Unforuantely I'm hooked and will end up buying them.  :tflaugh

Prowl is not a straight repaint... the spoiler is different... and you know, now i'm gonna have to buy prowl since it is different.

 

and i think i like sunstreaker with the stripes better.

I already ordered both. Streaker looks a LOT like my repaint.....sigh...if only I had more patience. Red alert looks good but I was really hoping for a new head mold. No worries though.

Yeah, I wanted posable human characters. Not bug eyed stiff pieces of plastic. They'll have to do. I only want Sunstreaker right now though.

I much prefer the Alt version of Streaks.  The black stripes and red biceps add some much-needed detail to break up the straight yellow and black.  I don't care about the figures one way or another.  If I wanted my Alts to have drivers I'd go to the hobby store and pick up some realistic 1/24 guys to put in them.  I only hope Red alert and Broadcast make it to the States as Alts like Streaks will.
