They're mentioned as "Universe"...does this mean the toyline isn't quite-yet-dead?

It is still used for store exclusives and there is going to be one more wave of Ultras.

Slightly off-topic but any news on the Piranhacon set? I heard it might be a Toyshop exclusive a while back...

Still no news. :tdown

Crud, exclusives.

I was hoping they might see a European release as well. I really wanted Superion even though I ordered a Sixwing reissue a week ago from a store.

I just have a thing for Micromasters and the Aerialbots hommage is ultra cool.

The new Red alert kicks ass too.

*Has a joygasm*

I hate KB exclusives now though because the only good KB's around here got shut down, the other 2 are crap and are much futher to go to. Plus the people who work there are F***ing retarded dumb@$$es

*sighs*

I'm not at all interested in a single figure mentioned here, however I have this point to make:

It's the priniciple of it all, why is there such a need for exclusives? Does it really make the retailer feel that much better to be buying overstock and repaints to hock to the unsuspecting consumer and pretty much get nothing in return because we're smarter than that?

There are many overseas friends who will never get to enjoy a certain figure, or will have to pay an exorbitant amount of hard earned money to get an item worth $.10 out of the factory.

Exclusives are a scourge and an absolute pain, not necessary, not needed, and just irritating.

Wal-Mart just keeps digging their own hole, soon they'll have to jump in. It's all that's left to them in this respect.

Ah well, to those who embrace it, good luck and happy hunting.
