The classics of tommorow

Recommended Posts

Well, we all know that there are some really outstanding transformers that will go on to become the classics of tommorow. What do you think they are?

I know one of them is noisemaze

well, 20 years ago, none of us can konw and predict the toys can valuable after 20 years. but, now so many G1 toys and figures letz recall our childhood...

so if you wanna say which is the next classics of tomorrow...may be SL,cybertron...etc.

why noisemaze? but really hard to say :tftongue

well ten years later but Tarantulus, Dinbot and the True Megatron (B/BM) will be/are classics.  as for newer characters...honestly i dont think any of them..they are all pretty bland now adays

i agree with noisemaze other from galaxy force are maybe ligerjack and sonic bomber if they get better roles in the story apart from being primes extra parts. the vanguard team maybe? an easy one is chromia

from energon shock blast but thats about it

Pretty hard to say I guess. Because you like a figure won't make it a classic, though. My money is on BW Prime and Megs, they where awesome characters who can keep up easily with todays standards for a good toy. So maybe they lacked a bit in detail, it's the whole that is great. And I think Unicron has a good shot at being a classic, as well as MP Convoy/ 20th Prime.

I was thinking that before i even read you saying it :-)

Noizemaze is supprisingly complex for his price point

I also think BT Grimlock is a classic of sorts....... the proportions kind of fit him, and he works well as a primative retro muscle-type car.

I think some of the Alts. are worthy of "classic" status. In particular, I liked Tracks, Sideswipe, and a few of the others. As for the newer lines, C-Prime is a no-brainer IMO, best Prime in a long long time, I also think Red alert is neat, from the same line (very unique transformation and he just looks cool).

Toy-wise? Unicron, Primus... All Primes/Megs/Galvs... That's pretty much it.

yep, but mostly G1 prime pretty much

Most people are going to disagree, but I'm betting that 20 years from now, RiD Megatron and GF Master Megatron are going to be considered classics.

Firstly, they are very unique, and I can see them being celebrated rather than condemed for that fact with time. Kind of like how Overlord and Deathsaurus are today.

That and GF Galaxy Convoy and RiD Omega Prime. Both really excellent examples of what a Prime toy can look like.

And of course, Unicron (Armada version) and Primus.
