A Frend and fellow TransFan living interstate said he's getting the DEFENSOR ultra small fig, It's coming from England at around $25-30 AUD , can't wait to find out about the quality!

It's listed through EBAY and comes from the same factory as the ones I have,mine are 20cm tall combind the smaller one is only 14cm combined  :eek  :eek  :eek

 

So far theirs no listing for Landcross in the extremely small range,but I can hope! :D 

I'm going to see if I can find the smaller ones anyway :roll

indeed,the quality not so bad and not so good.if just want to play it.make sure can purchase it. by the way,those combiners have old and new KO series

I'm originally country south Australian, we'd drive a 4hr round trip just for Mc Donalds!  :redface

 

Melborne has their own weekend markets (like paddies) as well as asian cheap shops (bootlegs R us  :roll  ) keep your eyes peeld you'll find them  :thumb

I've got the defensor set.  It's awesome.

however, I found that original landcross set has really awesome face paint job on each of the indivdual figures, so I would recommend the original personally.  They are not as hard to get as the other combiners.

The originals are always prefered, I use a 5 point rating system with KO's

1= HOLY CRAP THATS GOD AWFULL!  :eek

2= usefull only for the occasional spare part  :redface

3= need to buy 2 or more just to make a decent one  :tdown

4= alot of work needed to clean it up but OK  :thumb

5= a few minor bugs but well worth the mony payed  :clap

 

But a 5 out of 5 for Ko's is equal to only 3 out of 5 for originals !  :tftongue

My Devistator had one minor flaw, the hip piece connector was too tight a fit(had to shave the stubs down a little to make it removable), was it the same for your's?

 

BTW, I had the original Devistator set in the erly '80's, the KO's hold together much better than they ever did!  :thumb

heh, I had to loosen the screw for the head connector since it was too small a gap for it to fit onto hook. the Kmart one though had no problems :).

 

btw, there are like loads of "2 dollar" shops in Prahran (where I work) they all have crap though, the ones in Box Hill (Big asian area)  are just as bad.... :(.

 

Seen some strange Gundam knockoffs (like a 30cm WingGundam) at Victoria Market though.

 

obviously they all see me and hide all the TF KO's or something :)
