Im currently working on a hand full of transformers based on the animated G1movie.

I have:

Rodimus (GF Hotshot) - WIP

UltraMagnus (E.Overload) - WIP

Arcee (E.Arcee) - Repainting

Wheelie (C.Ransack) - Repainting

I wanna do a Grimlock but no idea what alt suits him more in this storyline I modifying... My intial idea was to use the TM Megatron but after looking at the WW.Grim I thought a Tank Grim isnt a bad idea too. Both ideas seems cool but I just dont know which to choose.

I voted TankGrim mainly because I've seen several Grimlock repaints from TM Megatron but never from Demolisher so it would be different.  I think it would be a good type of different.

A. Demolishor sucks. If you want to go for a Tanklock, go for a diffrent mold. Armada Megs for example. All you have to do to make HIM poseable is fiving him universal hips and hinge knees. PLUS, it's big enough to merit the Grimlock name...

I picked dino. But why not both?

I dont know but somehow I feel that the A.Megatron mold isnt the one that gives me the feel... but good suggestion anyway. Thanks :thumb

Yup actually I have been thinking about it whole night. Had been examining how to add the dino mode. Yeah its definately a perfect idea!  I already have something in my mind and will update once i have the clearer view.  :thumb

Actually I think if you used A. Hoists Body and A. Demolishers arms you would have a pretty good start for ole Grim.

What about GF Firstgunner/C-"SWAT" Red alert for the tank Grimlock? The torso looks like that of WW-Grimlock, and he's sure bulky enough to be a Grimlock.
