I was watching the first episodes of the Transformers on dvd and came across a sighting. In "More then meets the eye, part 1" Wheeljack and Bumblebee were making their way back to Iacon when they stumbled on a Decepticon welcoming party, At the beginning of the gun fight, three Decepticon warriors were firing on them. Thundercraker, skywarp, and A familar bright orange seeker. I paused it and sure enough there was Sunstorm along side the other seekers. Was this intentional or just a color mistake on the part of the animators? hmmmmmm.......you decide......till next time........

I believe that is how the character came to be, he was part of the original G1 episode and was lost in the continuity until now.

Yeah, was he always intented to be super-powered or was that for the new comic only?

New comic only

Well, actually, it's based off of the Japanese E-Hobby exclusive character foremost, then Dreamwave took the hint from that to create their comic character.

We all know he is in the new comic but if you look at the cartoon there he was in all his orange glory, who knows he could have been one of shockwaves generals back on cybertron......and the only other transformer who had "mystic" powers were the fallen somehow they could be conected? hmmm............believe it or not

That was just a generic seeker, there were others, just like there are other transformers on cybertron that look similar to bots we know. And for those of you that havnt picked up the g1 comic, sunstorm is a clone of starscream

Yup the G1 comics were great! :thumb I didn't notice a yellow seeker in the episode, must check now! Thanks!
