I love Pretenders. I never did understand how in the comics no one noticed that the humans (Pretenders) were like 15 feet tall, but oh well. Still a cool concept.

WORD THAT MAN

they should take another try at it but  with the armor being built onto the avtual transformer figure.

the armor could be built in such as way that it could be reconfigured into a multipart super weapon or it could be done up as a series of reconfiguralbe armor p;arts that could reatatch to the figure in a somewhat differant way with the figue taking on a vehicle form by itself and the armor being merged with it to supe the vehicl mode up or  they could have the armor do all that and actually manage to give it a good mecha beast form as well for the armor as a back up partner.

it would be tough sure  but if they put their midhs to it and built them close to masterpiece prime size it could work.

just think grimlock coming back as a fully poseable action master type figure with full body armor that can be reconfigured into super weaponry and  a velociraptor type mecha beast partner. that would be sweet

yeah. Maybe HasTak should look into it.

these toys were such a bummer as a kid, but at the same time I loved the animal pretenders.

lier, you stole that from X-Entertainment.

or i could have just scanned it minutes ago.

It's the fall 1988 issue btw.

***just checked out x-entertainments site, found the ad there. The one there is very clean, mine is aged, slightly yellow and creased in the corner :tdown

Is that a Buick or a Chevelle model in the background?
