What's all this talk about Blaster and Red. Isn't he Orange?

I'm pretty sure that White Broadblast we saw was just a proto.  The grey version is the spitting image of Blaster (especially the head) and is most certainly NOT Skids.

Agggh, you're right.  Broadblust is grey,  the 'official'  color version of Skids is Silver.

 

Since the two colors are pretty close together, i had a brainfart.

 

I've just seen this over on the Custom Repaints and Kitbashes board. DJMajin's done a good job with this digibash and it's now looking a little bit better as Blaster but only just.

Say, that gives me an idea.  It looks very dooable, paint the car all red, paint the hood yellow, put an autobot logo on it, and when you turn it into robot mode the legs can still be grey with red from the car parts that hang from the legs.

I'd like to see repaints incorporate Two-tone paint schemes like this:

 

 

Not necessarily these colours but breaking up the monocromatic schemes would be a better than decals.

To clear up any confussion  THREE versions of the  Toyota BB are being released on the same date:

 

 

Skids:  Blue Mica color

Skids:  Silver ('official' Toyota licensed color)

 

Broadblust: Grey/Red color

No way! That would suck if it's true. I honestly can't see the point as the most we've had released similtaneously in the same mold so far is 2 at a time. I doubt many people are gonna buy all 3 if the BT variant and BTA are very similar in colour. I know I won't and I've bought every BT to date. Why not just make broadblast the official silver?
