I really don't care for turning Skids into Blaster, however the colouring scheme is much improved ove the flaming blue skids imo. Also why would Takara go silver again, so far in the alt/bt line we have Silver Streak, and Grimlock. Either red or yellow would have been much more appropiate.

 

I really like the way Metroplex, and Soundwave have shaped up. Definitely must buys. :thumb

He's part of the BTA line. I believe he was announce right beside alert and Sunstreaker with the pics surfacing shortly afterward.

Alternator Skids has a better head. His fin is just silver giving it nice contrast where-as the BT’s is blue with a green Gandhi dot. Now I am going to have to get both and switch heads.

 

The alt head is more g1 accurate.

Seeing Blaster again, I'm liking it a lot more than before, dunno why. I planned to get it anyways but I look forward to it more now. And BT Skids is way better than Alt Skids.

To clear up any confussion  THREE versions of the  Toyota BB are being released on the same date:

 

 

Skids:  Blue Mica color

Skids:  Silver ('official' Toyota licensed color)

 

Broadblust: Grey/Red color

IMO, The Alternator Line Is Going Down Hill Fast. :tdown  The Toy Designers Are Getting Very Lazy And Are Making Crappy Repaints. (Baster :tfpuke , Swerve :tfpuke , Depthcharge :tfpuke , And Ravage :tfpuke ) I'm Not Looking Forward To Seeing How Many Crappy Repaints There Will Be When The Alternator Prime Hits The Stores. :tflaugh
