a gaurdians role

 

my family, my friends,

 

they are all that i would live for

they are all that i would die to protect

they are what gives me my strength in life

they are what gives me the hope for a better world

 

one man against all others, one man against those

consumed by hatred in their hearts

one man against all others who would condemn and judge

and hate me in life for who i am.

one man who would rather be himself then live a lie in life

one man who would be true to who he is then be a part of

society.

 

how can i stand up to that, how can can i stand against

all that bitter resentment and anger?

how can i stand against those who would hate and judge

and kill me for who and what i am?

how can i make a differance with my life when i can't even

believe in myself at times?

how can i  fight them when i can't even fight the darkness

inside my soul?

 

i must be stronger then them, i must be better then them,

i must be smarter and faster then them if i want to survive.

i must be their for those who are my family.

i must be their for those who are my friends.

i must live to be their for them, and i must die to protect them

bad blood or not they are all i have in life.

for those who can understand this much about me you have my

respect

 

those who can understand why i must live and die like this.
