im trying my first kitbash by turning smokescreen into prowl because they share the same head and basically I LOVE THE IMPREZA...

but im having alot and alot of trouble getting the white to cover the blue

and does anyone know how to remove the rims off the car..the steel circle piece is really holding it in well

good luck removing the rims... i still cant get them off.

 

and white will cover it very nicely if you are spray painting it...otherwise, your just messing it up by trying to paint over the blue with white brush on paint.

 

just take him apart and mask off the wheels and windows... it takes a bit more time, but is well worth it.

It would probably be alot easier to do this to a Silverstreak.  Silver is alot easier to cover that blue.

This article helped me a lot.

I am also using testors model master spray enamel. This works better for me than krylon paints. More costly but the results are very professional. And it covers already painted Alts like Silverstreak in one easy coat. No wrinkles nothing. I'll put up pics of my diaclone blue bluestreak I made out of silverstreak to show as an example tonight. He's a WIP but you'll get he idea.
