I have never seen the G1 Microphone base stand... neato...

 

In one of the first pics it looks like he has an ON/OFF switch.. is that for the Microfone then?  I was thikning maybe he had wheels and rollded forward...

I think it needs to be mentioned that the 2nd proto's Mic Moon looks a hell of a lot like Dead End and Vice Versa.

About Dead End being in Unicron's back, there's a minicon port back there  that activates sounds and launches the chest missile.  It works pretty well, although it's LOUD, and the missile gets some decent distance.

I know about that, but he is misstransformed, that's what threw me off. It looks like Dead End went "george of the jungle" on uni's back. I might rewrite that so it's better understood.

On Pic #5 (Birds Eye View of his Planet mode looking down on the top of what would be his head)

There is what looks like an on/off switch at the center of his neck/collar bone.

I am guessing that turns on the Microphone....

(its also faintly visible directly below his chin in Pic #4)
