Overall theme of Galaxyforce...

Recommended Posts

after watching this show, I'm seeing a really nice theme to this show. While Armada was all about the power of friendship...and..ok, no idea about Energon..

Galaxyforce/Cybertron is about integrity. Each character has his convictions, and stands by them. From Flame Convoy believing that the strong should rule, to Exhillion talking about how helping those in need is the key to being an autobot. In fact that is how the vangaurd team powers up...by wanting the power to protect (there is a lot more to it, so I didn't spoil anything folks) Hell even Megatron has his ideas on what a proper leader should be, never accepting help (ep 29 when Demolisher offered assistance in climbing inside the volcano) to trashing Flame Convoy's castle because he thought FC was weak. Even Prime, who is usually a preachyish character shows his by accepting other's convictions. This show is about individuality, and respecting it. Truly a positive message and approach.

now my only gripe about the show is where the hell do these other decepticons keep popping up? (thundercracker, Chromia, and the motor cycle...I mean hell they just pop out of no where!).

That and Inch up is NOT a destron..yes, he's a rival, and not the nicest guy....but when you watch the race episodes, you don't want to hate him like Gasket and Landbullet...but I digress

Now THIS is a good topic !

Inch up that not all bad guys are dark and sinister, he shows integety in persuit of his goals and resorts to violent action only as a last resort !

My only 'cringe' came from the end of the first episode when they showed the destruction of Cybertron, or so I thought, now they've explained that Cybertron still exists inside the GBH I find myself without a single 'cringe' .

Energon, on the other hand(------yeash----gag------hurl-----,) was a cringefest per episode!!!!  :redface

Now I wait with baited breath for every GF torrent and find myself smliling at the end of each episode and desprate for the next one! :beer

I'm also finding it hard to pick a favorite caracter, even the villins are living up to the role in a belevable manner .

This must be proof that occasionly HAS/TAK listen and get it RIGHT  :clap

Chromia and Roadstrom were Earth Destrons that Starscream Freed

Energon was about teamwork.

One thing I've noticed - this show departs form Energon's leader-worship, and that's why the characters seem so much more vibrant.  We all loved Rattrap because he'd backtalk Optimus Primal in a heartbeat.  Side Burn had a red car fetish that made no sense, but it was still damn fun to watch them try to keep it under control.  Armada Jetfire was a pimp who walked his own walk.  Energon, however, reduced the crew (except for Kicker, the token rebel) to a bunch of yes-men.

Rodimus Convoy opposed hem back before Energon started losing its goodness

im thinking Inch-up will return as a Destron as well as Terrashaver & Dinoshout sooner or later.  same goes for Skids, Saidos & Autolander.

So far, the characters are great, i just wish that Dreadrock would get more screentime and ass-kicking, mostly all episodes i see him in ends up him getting shot down ><;  but i am happy on the recent episodes 29-30 owning thundercracker ^^

Yeah, but what did Prowl do besides grab Rodimus's belt loop and follow him around like a puppy?

Armada was about how human beings are the master race of the universe.
