I am finally breaking down and buying my first BT (Tracks) because he is easier/cheaper to get than his ALT counterpart.  We've all seen ALT Tracks go for over $50 US on evilBay.  So my question is will he look out of place in my ALTS collection?

Who bought BT Tracks because they couldn't find the "one per case/only in one wave"

ALT prize? And fer GOD's SAKE do I put the flame sticker ON or NOT??? :schin

As for your sticker...I'd say keep Tracks in robot mode and forget about the sticker :P

Yeah I dunno about that sticker  :tflaugh ...

I personally like the sticker. I know it must look strange to people who are not Transformer Fans but I like the G1ness of it.

 

I vote for putting it on only if you get blue tracks.

I like the sticker, but he didn't look any different on my mantelpiece with the rest of my Alts, since he's the only one I had. 

 

I recommend getting him.. I got him for $30 bucks on ebay...he influenced me to pick up the BT Yellow Tracks, Zoom Zoom, and I'll be picking up the rest of the Japanese-only BTs (Blue Prowl, Smokescreen GT).

I broke down and bought the BT version.  He will not seem out of place, but now I wish I could have bought exclusively BT from the beginning.  I know I can't afford it though.  I might get the BT Prowl because I like the deco better than the Alt autobot symbol right on the hood of the car.

So my question is will he look out of place in my ALTS collection?

The only way these figs can look out of place is if you have a BT collection and decide to go with an Alt Smokescreen instead of BT. But any hoo, I never bought Alt Hound (got tired of waiting for it) I have BT Hound and he looks great with the alts. IMO the alts look great with the exception of Smokescreen. Unlike the rest of the Alts his color is so off and plastic looking. I eventually broke down and got BT 07 Smokescreen cause his color is so Much better. My only issue is it seems like his head is less posable.

I have Banana Tracks and Smokes GT, and they only stand out becuase I know they should.  Standing next to each other, GT really stands out from Alt Smokescreen though.

I have Alt Tracks too. It's funny so many people didn't see em. I ordered mine off of Walmart.com but 2 days after I got him I saw him in Kmart of all places. 2 weeks later, I go to Walmart and Meister was the only Alt on the shelf. Boy was I lucky. That bright new red packaging could attract normal toy buyers, let alone TFans. After that though I saw Meister and Tracks repeatedly in various stores. My suggestion for TF Collecting is be in the store every Wednesday and Friday after 12pm. Never slack up or you'll miss out. I slacked up and now TRU has loads of Grimlocks and Swindles some one got all the Serves, I just know it!

I only have Alt Tracks.  I had no problem finding him in Wal-Mart.  He is the only alt. I have, the rest being BT.  I got Alt Tracks because I didn't like the BT yellow version. 

 

IMO I think all the Alts suck and look cheap compared to the BTs, with the exception of Alt Tracks.  He is the best Alt in terms of quality. 

 

And I don't know why people are still paying $50 for the plastic Alt when  you can get the metal BT with the sticker for the same price or lower.  Its the same damn thing, just better. :roll
