Who would make a good G1 Galvatron voice

Recommended Posts

Ok i ready the article where producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura talks about the upcomign live action movie and NOT using any of the original voice actors Welker/Cullen especially for their respective roles we all know. If thats the case, who would you cast(some A list celeb) as Galvatron in a sequel?

Leonard Nimoy?

Or maybe Tommy Lee Jones....for some reason.

Tommy Lee Jones....

:schin

Interesting idea ....

Well Leonard Nimoy did Galvy in the original movie,so I doubt they would reuse him.Besides he is getting really old.

Frank Welker also did Galvy in the G1 TV series after the movie.

I just don't see using celebs as the TF voices. They are gonna wind up fing the movie and the rep of TF up.

Use the original voice actors damn you!

That dude who played the bad guy in the Hunchback of Notre' Dame!

SERIOUSLY!

-Diddly Jack :wtf

Cullen and Welker are cartoon voice actors.  Fans of the original show would notice and be grateful, but audiences on a large scale wouldn't care who played the parts, as long as they sound vaguely familiar.  Megatron would be tricky to emulate due to Welker's style on that voice in particular, but I can think of about a dozen "big name" actors who could play a passable Prime, and I would include George Clooney and Tom Hanks in that group.  They did say that the original actors would be given a chance to audition, so it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility.  But seriously, I'm sure the movie won't bomb simply because two relatively obscure voice actors from the 80's didn't get the lead roles.  :roll

There's plenty of OTHER ways they could kill the movie, like having some kid save up the money to buy a car, and realize he just bought a transformer. :tflaugh

Leonard Nimoy's voice PWNS. It's the best thing about TF:TM.

:pfx

I always felt Al Pacino would make a good Megatron for some reason.

Failing that, I'll do it, I can emulate Welker's Megs perfectly(you'll just have to trust me on this)

Jack Nickleson?

and if Rodimus Prime is in a sequal, I think Captain Kirk could do a good job.

:rofl

Great, now I feel lame for laughing at my own joke :redface
