I noticed that Starscream's Earth Key is gold and Scourge's Jungle Key is as well.

 

It looks like Override's Speed Cyber Key is going to be gold too.

What does that mean? 

 

At first I thought it was the "Planet Force Key", or what ever the hell is they're looking for, but I thought Evac had the Earth Key.

 

Any ideas?

Gold around the rim is Planet Force.  The only reason I can think of why Starscream has it is for when he steals it.

each of the planet leaders has a gold key/chip

 

screamer has one cuz he steals it in the show

 

galaxy convoy/optimus prime has his own sort of force chip thats shaped like the matrix and has gold and red paint apps but all the other convoys have repainted standered keys/chips

That's pretty interesting.  I've not seen any of the GF show, just the figures.

 

So, Starscream when steals it from Evac, is that what makes him grow?

Starscream also steals the Chip Square(Scourges and Overides Planet Force had already been inserted in it) When he inserts the Earth Planet Force he starts Growing.
