Semi-Rant.

Starscream is the Boba Fett of Transformers.  And I mean that in the "fans are attached to him because of the mythos they've built around the character, not from the canon" way.  Pisses me off, especially after Armada Starscream came into the picture and gave raving fangirls a whole bunch of romance fanfic fodder.

Cybertron Starscream would bite Alexis's head off like an Ozzy concert.  And for that, I love him.

:pfx  yeah aramda sc to mean seemed like dinobot, wanted power but was really confused on what side of the fence to be on to get it, but they made him real human like which was alright, didn't get to see all the eps or how it played out, didn't see any energon, and i'll prob miss cyb, damn not having cable, but the way i look at it, there toys. the only one i've a cult for is Jazz/meister and when i think about it it's kinda racial disturbing.

I say "Sunstorm" is the Boba Fett of Transformers. He was in MTMTE for like three seconds, and every fanboy out there made him into this cool ass seeker. He is a yellow bastard yes, but a the strong all powerful seeker the DW comics made him into? come on! He was a background character, nothing more, nothing less. I mean they even did a repaint (E-Hobby) for him! what about the Lime/Kermit the frog green colored seeker, why doesnt he get a repainted figure, what is his name BTW? Slimestorm? GreenTurdinmytoiletStorm?

The green guy is Bob. Bob gets no love.

I have to admit, Sunstorm in Dreamwave was cool... Religous maniacs are always fun to read about (If they're not real, in which case it becomes despressing). But beyond his death, I'm pretty non-plussed, since his insane power did get on my nerves.

But yeah, feh. I prefer the comics overall, since they seemed to produce a better quality of story. They weren't black-and-white, and did delve into the nature of morality at times, something the cartoon needed badly (And didn't get until Beast Wars/Machines). I'm intently distrustful of those who are "whiter-than-white" and even at a young age, Primes holier-than-thou stance seemed to irritate me.

'sides, building background from a tiny piece of canon is what fans do. Apart from Starscream.
