I just stayed at the luxor hotel in vegas and the whole whole hotel was egyptian themed ( the wholle place was shaped as a HUGE pyramid) and above the arcade they had a Huge statue of this

looks more macross but cool nontheless

does anyone know what series that is from?

I think it looks more like a robot from Virtual On.....

But really it's just some robot some one made most likely, like once I saw a karate school that had a robot chicken in the window that looked like a villian from MMX.

I don't think that's from anything.  It's probably just a made up design, crossing the "sci-fi" feel of an arcade with the Egyptian stylings of the hotel.

looks awesome.

you're probably right. i can't see them using a real character

i lived in vegas for 8 months and cruised the arcades all the time (Luxors was the second best out there). I do not remeber this when i lived there, but I feel safe to say it's not based on anything real. these guys have money for any custom piece they want.

Any idea when that statue was constructed? It looks a lot like Pharoah Gundam IV from 1994's Mobile Fighter G Gundam.

I saw that very robot when I was in Vegas last summer.

It's a knockoff of the Temjin from Virtual On. I recognized the weapon, elbow, and ankle armor designs.

IMO its a little sucky, dated to hell and the pose is poor and the legs are rather wtf

still cool that its thier
