I was looking at some old mechwarrior books at the bookstore, and something hit me (actually eight hours later): Why doesn't Hastak do something similiar? Why not work out technical diagrams and such to explain the transformers? Well, the first problem would be the price, and then the price, but it would be very cool. Anyway, I thought about this, and then cooked this up:

 

Transformers Galaxy Force/Cybertron Tech Analysis:

 

Force Chip (Cyber Planet Key): A byproduct of the assimilation of the various Planet Forces  into the very structure of the planet. The Force Chip is a physical manifestation of energon radiation flowing from the Planet Force of each planet coupled with the energon radiation given off by a strong willed Transformer (this is on the assumption that the Force Chips are actually physical objects). This results in a sort of energon boost that is used in the various Force Chip Ignitions (Cyber Planet Key Powers).

 

Planet Forces: Each contains 1/4 of the power that the creator of all Transformers, Primus had. At one point, the four forces were split apart and spread across the universe to four planets: Earth, Animatros, Speedia, and the unknown "Gear" planet. The power of these forces is so great that all transformer life is connected to them, through the Force Chip Ignitions.

 

Force Chip Ignition: A reaction to a Planet Force during form aquisition. When Transformers chose their forms on each planet, they were not aware that they were also selecting their Ignitions as well. Most Transformers chose Ignitions that fit the planet that they were currently on, but some, like Hotshot or Starscream, chose Ignitions from different planets. An explaination of these circumstances will be later on. The Ignition is a physical ability that is not able to be activated under normal circumstances. Because of the immense power of the Planet Forces, Transformers that chose forms on these planets and Cybertron (Cybertron is the rebirth place of Primus, so it is a great storehouse of energon as well) were able to create their Ignitions on the assumption that a greater power (Force Chips) would be able to be obtained.

Optimus Prime:

Alt form: Fire Truck

 

Description: As the Supreme Commander of the Autobots, Optimus Prime is a powerful warrior, with lots of high energon output weaponry. His current form consists of his main "core" cab unit, the Super Pack, containing his Long Range Cannon; High Output Blast Cannon; two short range missile racks; one large long range missile rack; and one High Output Rocket Booster, two Leg Boosters, which contain one Medium Output Blast Cannon and one Medium Output Rocket each. Prime also carries the tip of the Long Range Cannon as a Pistol.

The Super Pack can cobine with the Leg Boosters to create a weapons platform that can function with any Autobot at it's controls, however this mode does not have access to Optimus Prime's power core, and therefore is not nearly as powerful as it is attatched to the core unit.

Optimus Prime can combine with his Super Pack and leg boosters in three ways. First is the Fire Truck alt mode, which serves as a weapon's platform. The second way consists of the Fire Truck folding out, producing wings on both sides. This allows flight capability (in a sense, as the design is inherently unstable) In the third way, the Super Pack is attatched to the back of the 'bot mode of the core unit and is called Super Mode.

In addition to the aforementioned Force Chip Ignition, this mode allows maximum energon absorption. The wing units, and  the fins of the head unit (these do not add to Optimus Prime's aerodynamics) are actually a substance that is able to absorb certain ammounts of energon and convert it into usable fuel. On some occasions, Optimus Prime is also able to convert water into the basic Hydrogen and Oxygen elements while retaining the energon released from the reaction. This method, however, is not used often, seeing as how much an affect it would have on the planet's ecosystem.

Both Force Chip Ignitions can be used in any mode, though the already unstable Flight mode would become more unstable if the High Output Cannon were to suddenly open up (this will be explained later).

 

 

Load Out:

 

Super Pack:

Long Range Cannon: This cannon is only available for use when the pistol is attatched. This cannon has by far, the longest range of any weapon in the Autobot army.

 

Pistol: is actually a high energy medium rifle, but due to his immense size, Prime can wield it with one hand as a pistol.

 

High Output Blast Cannon: This consumes a majority of the energon stored in Optimus Prime, and is his deadliest weapon. This cannon basically hurls as much energon in one blast in the shortest ammount of time possible.

 

High Output Rocket: This booster gives Optimus Prime Flight capability, in both Super Mode and Flight Mode.

 

Leg Booster:

Medium Output Blast Cannon: Much like the High version, a lot of energon is dumped into this weapon. However, because of its smaller size, it is much more versitile. This weapon can also be used to propel Optimus Prime much like the Medium output Rocket, multiplying his top velocity in Super Mode by 1.25.

 

Medium output Rocket: These Boosters add to the power of the High Output Rocket in Flight Mode, and give stability and power in Super Mode.

 

Force Chip Ignition: Optimus Prime has two Ignitions, one in each cannon on the Super Pack.

1st Ignition (Long Range Cannon): The added energon is routed to two shorter range cannon, effectively decreasing the range of the weapon, if full affect is to be felt by the enemy. This however effectively triples the power of the Long Range Cannon.

 

2nd Ignition (high output cannon): All energon is routed through to the main cannon. Because of the immense ammount of energon and heat that is produced, the protective casing around the cannon must be opened, and  additional heat sinks must be erected. This improves the power of the cannon ten fold, but leaves it very open to attack.

Yeah, good stuff. 

I know its been a while, but I have another bio. This time its Live Convoy, but first here's some more back story:

 

The origin of Transformers from different planets:

Since their creation, the Transformers had always resided on the planet Cybertron, and never thought that they would live anywhere else. However, after the forced-hybernation of their fabled creator, Primus, hundreds of refugees from both factions decided to leave their home world for the hiding places of their creator's spark pieces, some wanted to gain its power while others wanted to protect it. The TF Cybertron Era is many trillion years since this great exodus, and most transformers do not remember their own original world, perhaps the test of time has an effect on all individuals, including Transformers.

 

 

Evac (Live Convoy):

 

Rank: Unknown (current Cybertronian rank forgotten)

 

Alt Form: Rescue Helicopter

 

Description: An ancient refugee from the planet Cybertron, Evac has spent all his life dedicated to protecteting all the inhabitants of the planet Earth, and of course, the Earth Planet Force. A powerful all-around combatant, Evac is able to hold his own in close and long-range combat. His regular equipment loadout is one Roto-Blade Unit (RBU), one Hook-Line System(HLS), and two Medium Vulcan Cannons. Evac's Force Chip Ignition equipment is his Jet-Missile-Boost System (JMB).

 

In Alt Mode, Evac mainly uses his Medium vulcan Cannons, HLS and the JMB. This weapon loadout may seem meager, but the high mobility and speed of his alt mode, gives him unmatched speed and manuverability. The HLS system is used to confuse enemies by dragging debris to stretegic positions, or to mess with capital ships (see Gundam Seed, ep 3 of so). The JMB is used for only the missile function. This mode is used for combating multiple fores simultaneously.

 

In bot mode, Evac is a close range fighter, utilizing the RBU, HLS, and JMB. In this mode, This gives Evac an unprecedented robot mode top speed, giving him the edge needed, because of his lack of long range weaponry.The JMB is primarily used for its jet boost system. This mode is primarily used for one-on-one combat.

Loadout:

 

RBU (Roto-Blade System):

The RBU is a very close range weapon, (note: I do not like how Live Convoy uses the blades as a hand held weapon rather than a arm mounted weapon) by using the already arm mounted heli blade motor to accelerate the blades, maximizing its offensive power.

 

HLS (Hook-Line System):

The HLS uses it's ECS (energon coating system) to create an energon coated combat knife that can be used in close combat, or as a hook-shot to pull in enemies from afar, especially to make use of the RBU, creating a powerful combo.

 

Medium Vulcan Cannon:

A standard grade Vulcan cannon, with high velocity slugs and medium range.

 

JMB (Jet/Missile Boost package):

This package has two functions and two Force Chip Igintions.

Jet-Boost: This diverts all energon to the propulsion unit, greatly increasing Evac's speed.

Jet-Missile: This diverts all energon into the MCS (Matter Creation System), giving Evac an almost unlimited supply of MMMs (Multi-Missile Missiles), which are able to carpet the sky with fire. MMMs are particularly useful against multiple foes.

Excillion (sounds much better than Hot Shot):

Alt Mode: Sports Car

 

Description: Excillion is the quintessential young, inexperienced, kinda stupid, hotblooded, arrogant, warrior. His alt mode reflects that. Excillion is equiped with two arm mounted Short Range Missile Racks, and one (optional) Medium Range Energon Rifle. His Force Chip Ignition equipment is the Accel-System (AS).

 

In alt mode, Excillion's all about speed, with little/no weapons, he is really armed for scout work. The rifle is optional because of the aerodynamic disadvantage it has on his alt form's speed. To add to his already impressive speed, the AS system multiplies his speed by a factor of 1.5

 

In robot mode, Excillion enjoys a bit more power. this allows use fo the two missile packs and in-hand use of the rifle. The AS "accelerates" Excillions combative power (explained later.

 

Loadout:

Short Range Missile Rack:

This rack consists of three short range missiles that can be regenereated through the MCS (Matter-Creation System), located behind the wheeles on each arm (this is why the elbow is so low [well I'm trying ok?])

 

Medium Range Energon Rifle:

This rifle is an ordinary energon rifle, with a few modifications. It is constructed from a lightweight material to keep the weight down in alt mode.

 

AS (Accel-System):

There is only one Force Chip Ignition, but the actual mechanism in alt and robot mode couldn't be more different:

Accel-Wing:

 

Alt Mode: The wings really are just used as giant spoilers, necessary when the energon from the Force Chip is diverted to the acceleration ports at the back of the mode.

 

Robot Mode: The AS unit, although haphazard with long term use, basically overclocks Excillion's procesing matrix, giving him an accelerated view of the battle, far enhancing his combat abilities. The wings are really just for show, though some use this as a notification that Excillion is in need of help.
