Went to Joliet IL TRU today, and found Energon 2-packs.  Many of these included blue Ironhide and...  Mirage!:clap I mean, like 5 of these sets!  And at $19.99 per set.  Did Hasbro suddenly find a whole heaping bunch of Mirages sitting in their warehouse or something?  I only ever saw 1 in regular retail...  EVER...  Then it was like he just disappeared.  Like a mirage.  How apt...  Man I'm drunk...

Congrats. :thumb  Energon Mirage is an excellent figure.

 

As for availability here in Canada Mirage has been warming the shelves along with Cliffjumper, and Shockblast for $30 CDs since November. :roll 

I saw the same two packs at my TRU. It's cool that I finally see mirage after seeing dreadwing most of the time :roll

All TRUs I have been to lately have at least one Mirage/Ironhide 2-pack.  I figure if nothing else, the Ironhide will go to Toys for Tots.  I had never seen Mirage in a store, ever (though I did see Dreadwing once or twice).

 

And at the TRUs around here, the 2-packs are actually $16.97, so I even saved a few bucks.

eh, Mirage was always a rare toy here in Eau Claire, wisconsin. and the Combatticons are unheard of. of course, Dreadwing was all but rare. he must have made up for the Mirage colors mold. i received a Dreadwing as a B-day present and i still play with him to this very day

I have to go to TRU I let Mirage slip past me and I still dont have Ironhide.

*Waits for UK based board member to come in and give out about  not getting Mirage, and being incapable of importing said toy*

 

I got the impression Mirage had spotty distriubtion?  Followed closely by the overstocked Dreadwing?

Indeed, Mirage's case assortment didn't make it to stores b/c of the piles of Ironhide and Jetfire, and by the time Hasbro cleared them, it was to make way for the red box cases.

 

And I'll bet money there are more Tracks out there, probably at smaller chains like Shopko, Meijers, or Kmart.  Though he seems relatively easy to find in New Zealand  :wtf

That Track's comment was a good one, seriously, I hope it comes true.
