Nightbird..? You mean the lifeless japanese-made Robot? Considering she wasn't sentient to begin with, I fail to see how this factors into anything. They played at "her" still being functional, but not at being anything more than a toaster with a potential violent streak.

Optimus Prime a fraud? Youve got to be kidding me. Prime protected the rights of all living things. He could have junked the Dinobots but didnt, he gave them a second chance. Gears? He was corrupted from the start so why change him. Personally I liked Gears personality. And Devestator was a tool against Megatron enough said.

 

Optimus was no fraud but a true hero and leader and every plan was well thought out to help the Autobot cause.

I'd say the Devastator incident is nothing more than a screw up on the part of the writer. Normal Optimus would not have violated a being's mind like that.

The picture shows up for me. It shows a close up of Nightbird's eyes and she looks angry. I guess X-Bob is trying to say Nightbird is sentient because she has emotions.

heres the story for the constructicons

 

they were originally members of the master builders which included grapple and hauler presumably as well as any other trasformer who was especially skilled in construction.

 

6 of the master builders who may have once been allied with the decepticon forces prior to megatrons rise through the ranks. they would create his body but since they and the decepticons did not posess the matrix of leadership or have acces to vector sigma. it is my theory that alpha trion wound up giving megatron life.

 

this begins the 3rd great war

 

megatron eventually reprograms them. they destroy chrystal city and omega supreme follows them into space where they eventually cross paths with starscream on earth omega supreme destroys devastator in a final battle and starscream salvages their personality components returns to cybertron and joins megatrons army to get over losing his best friend skyfire.

 

megatron eventually recreates their bodies on earth claiming that he buitl them when in reality thats only half the truth.

I would say that would be the 2nd great war. The first being against the Quintessons, the 2nd being Megatron vs Optimus Prime on Cybertron and the 3rd being Optimus Prime vs Megatron on Earth and afterwards. Remember when the Autobots went back to Cybertron after waking up on Earth, it was in the hands of the Decepticons, meaning that the Decepticons had won the 2nd great war.
