on some of your repro parts do you leave a mark or anything to identify them as yours? I ask because some people will be buying your parts and selling them on eBay or other sites as original pieces....i see this horrible practice at a few flea markets/toy shows once in a while and love busting these dudes, lol.

On another note, Im looking to trade someone's original back head of Alt WJ with a translucent repro one. I made my first real booboo and mine got toasted. So if there's any one who will trade, I'd appreciate it.

Just the fill and vent marks most times. Sometimes some minor flash film that I don't clean up to well due to time but others will and some color differences on colored items. Other than that, not much to tell the difference.

 

Keep up the good work. As much as I like that some of them can pass for originals, I disagree with that kind of practice. That's not why I do this.

Hey Ken,  Were you going to do some customized missles for the G1 reissues, so we can get normal sized missles that will fit in the seeker, Ultra Magnus, and Optimus Prime's launchers, instead of the oversized/overlengthened missles they come with?

 

Also, any luck getting a repro of the reissue Megatron mace/morning star?

 

And I still think a customized G1 Optimus rifle with the post moved back to the actual 'grip' so he can hold the rifle like he's supposed to would be awesome, if you can ever get around to it :tfgrin

i'm digging that wheejack head... i would have liked for the side parts to be more straight out rather than up angled... like the origial WJ.

 

I would definately like to see some sunstreaker/deadend heads...

 

also, G1 sunstreaker's spoiler would be a big money maker... I would think.

Nope, glued together real good and I don't want to ruin it. Still trying different ways, Don't lose hope.

 

It's coming. Hopefully it'll be in the mold in the next week or so. It's not a paid project so I have to fit it in when I can.
