"Masterpiece" Wheeljack auction ENDING TODAY!

Recommended Posts

I just want to let the gang here know that I'm auctioning off my latest custom, a G1 accurate, fully transformable Wheeljack. It was made from an alternator Ravage and a Tamiya Lancia Stratos 1/24 scale kit.

Like Mirage before him, I'm offering Wheeljack to the community with a custom box AND the choice of either head (Toy or Cartoon version).

If you're interested, here's the link to the auction.

There's also a full gallery at www.tfmaster.com if you are interested in that.

Thanks.

wow, i didn't know if it was worth your asking pricve but I have been proven wrong, lol. Your fig is damn sweet though and I like the G1 box. yours reminds me of a failed attempt by takara back in the day of doing a way early masterpiece collection. Yours looks about a thousand times better but has the same feel that they were aiming for: http://www.toyarchive.com/Transformers/Pro...MockUp1988.html

That's impressive.

Too bad I have to save money for Botcon.

Wow, that's an interesting link Ericb, thanks.  I guess doing this sort of thing on a large scale has been too cost-prohibitive for Takara/Hasbro. Between tooling, development, and licensing costs, I guess we're quite lucky to even have the alternators line and an MP Prime/Ultra Magnus!  :thumb

You are aware that all that that thing is, is a model to indicate a very, VERY rough scetch of the transformation, right? It was an idea the people of Takara had, and they rushed to make a very simplistic model of their intentions. The grabbed what they could find, and made a model of that. They didn't bother to make a model, because that would be very costly, and all they wanted is to give a rough indication of what they wanted to do. This is basically brainstomring, that's all.

Something similar is the Megatron G2 Videa Camera Mock Up. http://www.toyarchive.com/Transformers/Pro...ameraMock1.html

yeah, but you see what they were aiming for, that was my point...and thank god we never saw that vid cam megatron, lol. Bickmore has the conections, lol.

Looks pretty good, why don't you include both heads instead of just one?

Also that pic in profile in the box in the car mode really shows the door alignment poorly. I hope it doesn't come like that.
