I want to like it, but I just hate Scions. They're too gimmicky for my taste. I still wish Ironhide had been a Dodge Ram.

Still, it's amazing how many people are reacting positively to this compared to how many when the first shots of Prowl came out.

You must not have read the original thread in news and rumors or threads from other boards.  There's as much bashing, if not more, of this guy compared to Prowl, mainly because of the choice of cars.  I personally like it.  Sure the choice of car could have been better but I fell in love with this line because the alt mode was of a realistic car.  Heck, they can make a Alternator with a Pinto for an alt mode and I'd still love it.  This "crap", as many have called it, is far better than most of the energon stuff in terms of aesthetics.

I'm actually fond of the mold.  And I began to see the light with prowl once he was all painted up.  I was surprised by the choice of car, but then again, the original Ironhide was a minivan...

Ratchet repaint anyone?

 

Looks good but I'm hopeful for molds other than car chests. Still, it's a must buy for any fan :thumb

 

Using the hood for the feet would make for a nice changeup in future molds (Like G1 Wheeljack or Sunstreaker design)

Chin encased in helmet, with ridged chinguard? Nope

Indistinctive mouth? Nope

Tiny nose? Nope

 

Unless you're completely misnaming your figures, there's nothing that relates to Energon Demolishor.
