heres my idea for how a person can make a transmetal 2 megatron figure thats 80-95% show accurate.

 

 

for this project you will need

 

1 tm2 megatron for the main figure

 

1 tm2 megatron loose if possible.

 

parts to salvage wings neck and armor as well as tail

 

2 beast fighter dragon megatron knock offs

 

parts to salvage dragon legs from the top knee joint down when it comes to the double knee joint leg parts and feet as well as tail

 

2 tm megatrons or 2 armada predacons

 

parts to salvage tail joints

 

1 tm terrasor or armada terrasor

 

parts to salvage lower body and entire set of legs minus feet

 

1 tigerhawk prefferably loose or universe rasorclaw

 

parts to salvage set of feet from the beast modes  rear legs

 

1 transmetal rattrap

 

parts to salvage multijointed tail whip

 

1 transmetal 2 ramulos or universe reissue

parts to salvage ram horns

 

1 xevox figure

parts to salvage a set of ball and socket joints

 

tools you will need

 

a good cutting knife

 

some sculpey

 

a good drill and set of drill bits

 

some steel wire

 

and epoxy glue

 

 

 

start out by dissasemblying the dragon figures completely

 

now to build the dragon head up right your gonna need these parts

 

both halves of the dragons head

 

the lower jaw

 

the antennea off of the dragon tail helmet from one of the knock off dragon megatrons

 

the set of ball and socket joints from the xevox figure

 

the elk like horns that were built onto the dragons head to begin with

 

and ramulos's horn

 

use a single layer of epoxy glue on the ball joint pegs and the base of the ram horns. then set the pieces together so that the glue will have time to bond the parts properly. apply a layer of sculpey over the epoxy after the glue has had time to set thoroughly. apply a single layer of epoxy glue to the sculpey once it has been thoroughly shaped so that it will harden up better and have a stronger grip on the parts.

 

use some sculpey to  fill in the hallow space in each dragon head half but leave som room at the back as you will need that space to work with later.

 

now that the ram horns are completed take the socket joints and make sure they face away from each other with the gap of each joint faceing outwards

 

youll know theyre set up right if the gap in the socket joint is leaning to the right like a U laying on its right side. epoxy glue each one onto the back of each dragon head piece and use some sculpey to shape the them so as to give it that transmetal 2 look

 

 

lengthen the fangs at the front of the top jaw useing some sculpey to give the dragon a set of vampire like teeth.

 

now that the socket joints are secure pop the ram horns into place.

 

by building the head like this through the back you make it so that it can act like a flamethrower, a clawed gauntlet, a poisonous venom injector which can also act like an energy siphon, and with the ram horns folded out to the side and forward a crossbow configuration

 

now for the elk horns theres a little bit of plastic in the middle that holds them together as a single piece cut it in half through there.

 

use some sculpey to lengthen the tiny hornlets on each horn and apply a little epoxy glue to harden it better

 

now take some sculpey and mold over the front tip of each one so you can set them up over the eyebrows. apply a layer of epoxy glue to harden the sculpey

 

 

the horns will be going in the same direction they were to begin with but with them being moved up over the eyebrows and lengthened somewhat.

 

now take the antennea salvaged from the knock off figure and mold them into place on top of the dragons forhead. make sure to leave enough space for the upper jaw to open and close right though.

 

now take appart the lower legs from the tm2 megatron parts figure. you see that piece thats built into place with the clawed dragon feet its the clawed piece that folds out from the back of the lower legs.  your gonna want to use a cutting knife to remove the clawed end of it.

 

those two claw parts can be molded onto each side of the dragons head right over the pin that holds the lower jaw in place this will give the dragon more of a heavy armor look. just make sure to use a combination of epoxy and sculpey so that the part will be attached real good other wise it could fall off over time. also make sure you set it up through there with enough room for the upper jaw to work right

 

now reasemble the dragons head completely. that gap i told you to leave in the back of the dragons head will be used for this reason

 

to build the base of the neck into the dragons head you will need to take the tail tip from armada predacon or tm megatron.

cut a little plastic off each side of the tail tip and use some sculpey to secure it into the back of the dragons head  apply some epoxy glue in the hole first so that it and the sculpey will harden better

 

as for tm megs and armada predicons tail joints they will be used to form the neck in the next post all right

i think i described it well enough so a person can picture it in their mind as its built.

 

the first part jus bashes a set of ball and socket ramulos horns onto the back of the dragons head, moves the original set of horns over the yebrows lengthens the hornlets and fangs in the upper jaw and adds a set of antennea onto the dragons forhead and ends with the beginning of the neck
