take a look

I emailed the guy and asked him how much shipping would be to the US.. and he replied $50...

can you believe that? some freak thinks he can get away with this? I can see bumping around the price of shipping to make up for a couple of bucks... but this is reduculous.

Because he doesn't list an exact shipping quote, and he's extorting that kind of money FOR the shipping...he's well within eBay's violation area.

He's just doing to keep his auction costs low. Smart idea until he gets caught.

Report him, because if the tables were turned we'd be reported.

I frankly don't see what you are actually upset about. If I had the money I'd have no problem with the 50 shipping (if it's also for overseas that is) to get it here. Just importing him is likely to cost me nearly double that.

Damn scalpers.

...

it sold for a penny.

How is getting an OS for $50.01 scalping?  He'd cost me like $3 less if I found him at target.

well, i didn't vcall him a scalper, just doing something "against the ebay books"...

I always knew T.V infomercial s and h pricing would come to the internet... i had that done to me after i ordered some stuff off t.v, i asked what s.h would be and they said 25 bucks. Why i generally buy from good name internet companies and in store.

I found the same thing, except it was a HBS  convoy, I almost bought it until I saw the shipping costs.
