The buyer must have been pleased, he left a positive feedback for the seller. I guess this is one of those "you"ll really never know" ordeals.

That seller is laughing all the way to the bank right now.....

so any news update from the winner if it's authentic?

The buyer says the car inside is just a 1:24 scale black viper.  Don't know why the guy gave the seller a + feedback.  He (the buyer) even tried to defend the seller by saying he (the seller) didn't know.  Idiot.  The buyer either has no spine or was refunded his money.  I would have been irate.  But then again, I wouldn't have been stupid enough to pay $150 + for it.  Anyways, you can find a thread about this scam solved over at allspark.

lol as much as i wanted it to be true, i knew it was all a scam.

hi guys i got a message from the winner saying this

I received the Black Sideswipe and decided to open the box. I found out that it was just a car and not a Transformer. The seller never opened it, so I don't blame him or Wal-Mart. I blame Hasbro for letting this go through inspection. Nonr-the-less, I was very disapointed.

LOL, he named 3 possible culprits (Walmart, the seller, and Hasbro).  Of the 3, he blamed the LEAST likely culprit, Hasbro.  Of course Hasbro is renown for putting a 1/24 scale car model in their transformer boxes because they couldn't make enough Dead Ends to satisfy the demand. :roll Now Walmart can be blamed if someone bought Dead End and returned the box with a 1/24 scale viper.  They can be blamed for not inspecting returns.  But I put the most blame on the seller.  Either HE was the one who put the viper in there himself OR if he bought it that way, he should at least open it up to verify it instead of trying to scam someone in to thinking its a rare variant.  But you know, I blame the buyer just as much as the seller for being so gullible and stupid.
