It seems like a rumor too me, and also there hasn't been any new news on energon. It's dead.

 

All the new figure repaints, and previews are all cybertron or universe.

I think there were all sorts of figures that were rumored to show up in Energon or Universe but havent.

 

But that could be Overcast or the Dinobots for all i know.  Also we are alll still waiting for the Constructicon recolor of build-king and the prianah cons or whatever that fugly is called.

If it's a rumor, there should be content to it. A name, some details, anything. If he said "I believe I remember Hasbro will release Superdooper Megalopotron", that'd vaguely qualify as a rumor. The question as it is is too vague to qualify for anything.

And if it's an old rumor, as stated in the initial post, it's not "news" by definition.
