Yeah, I looked over that, because Windcharger is the Hasbro name for Overdrive. What I do wonder now, is if Windcharger would have his own BT-body, or whether his Spark will exire because of the lack of body, or that he will simply remain in his original G1 body, like Wheeljack himself does.

 

It seems Wheeljack wants a variety of bodies: One normal, in which he can best do his scientific work;One Binaltech Battle-body, designed for heavy battle, with heavy armor, but without any impedement for normal work; and the "Omega"-body, which I expect to be a heavy-duty destructive vehicle, extra-extra-powerful, as some sort of last-ditch effort for his own survival.

 

I have heard (and, please, do not quote me on this, because this source has been known to get it wrong at times), that there are plans for 2 bigger Alternators, with the price set on about 30 dollar. Again, this is a rumor, not verified at all, but the "Omega"-body for Wheeljack does kind of fit into there.

I gotta hand it to Ichikawa -- he's done a lot more with this story than I thought possible. Excellent work on everyone's part. :thumb

But yes, I like how the story allows for some interesting characterization for Wheeljack.

This whole GT-multiple-body-sharing-one-core-idea is taken from Orson Scott Card's "Children of the Mind". Very interesting read, and I can recommend it to everyone.

it is interesting that wheeljack has seen his own dead body, perhaps it is this fright that has led to this paranoia and wanting to do everything he can to stop the death of his comrades

 

Brawn definately seems a very good possibility as most of the others in the story have been made into alternators (windcharger's body stolen) possibly red alert, ironhide and ratchet are also possibilities

 

 

i really hope this line continues past 2005, there are so many characters that have not been done, it may even get better next year as hasbro is bound to have some more liscences due to the movie
