G1 topspin- My first repaint

hey, i just go into the repaint and kitbash thing and i really like it so far. For my first project i used g1 topspin and repainted it my own colours. Of course i have to give credit to the guy that taught me, Spence. Anyways, tell me what you think of it, any paint suggestions or maybe a name. (i know the blue is still showing, it needs a touch up). :tftongue

It's supposed to be a hydrofoil/Cybertronian jet.

 

It looks like the diaclone paint scheme, only better. What did you use to paint the pontoons (the silver things that you've painted shiny red) ?

I used a transparent red paint, that i think it meant for glass staining and such. But i am also doing another g1...i forget the name, looks exactly like this but in reverse colour schemes.

Too bad a lot of the original blue is peeking out all over.  Still, very nice job--love the pontoons.
