This is a great idea... a few things like, cybertron would have to be reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllly far away just to prevent the cybertronians from making a ship for thier new friends and sending them on thier way...  The food thing was a good note and Guld had a good response, any space mission would probably have a good supply of food... but not indefinate.

I like the idea of a military team, this would get a similar vibe that stargate (the movie) had... not just some helpless tards but people who had training.

The idea about having the human pilot the robots in vehicle mode :tdown  I don't think TFs should ever function better with human pilots, it makes no sense.

And the question of atmosphere would also need to be addressed... unlike in G1 :grr

But all in all this is an incredible idea

Also there's the question of whether they announce themselves to Cyertron's leaders or try to lay low until they figure out who controls what and how to take advantage of their not-transformerness.

I would think they would be too scared and lay low. Also they would mostly likely think the TFs were controlled by someone else. Kinda-like how the Autobots thought cars were the dominate life-form at first in the comics.

To solve the food problem I would think that Cybertron being a planet would not just be one planet in an entire solar system.  Second I would think that you will have Transformers that are jets, planes, and rockets they would visit other worlds. As we know in all of the Transformers continuity they've always gone to other planets.  I would guess that they would know how to find substinance for the humans.

Lost...confused.....no hope of surviving in such a horrible terrain.

And horrible obstacles such as 40 foot tall stairs, sharp metal edges to cut yourself on and NO AIR TO BREATHE!

:thumb Exactly. Plus there are giant 40' tall robots having a war all around you.

One way that the humans could find sustanace would be from other organic lifeforms/parasites that inhabitted Cybertron. Sort of metal/energy eating cockroaches. Water would be freaking hard to come by too.

I can see the autobots AND decepticons both seeing use in the humans. The autobots would seek any information the humans could provide...especially about other power sources. Whereas the decepticons would be amazed that magnetic weaponry did not affect the humans and therefore could be used as walking weapons against the autobots.

Depending on what kind of mission and ship you're talking about, food and air might not be that big of a problem compared with other things.  How do current spaceships deal with the air problem?(honestly don't know, serious question)  If they used plants in the ship to recycle their atmosphere it would potentially solve the food problem...but they would need an outside source of protein eventually.

:lol  If your idea was used for the TF cartoon, I'd actually want to watch it for the first time since I was 10.
