TF comic license picked up, says Furman

Nevermore

about freakin time. i need comics. i just hope they can get don back on artwork. i wouldn't mind jae lee doing some stuff again. however i'm not really that bothered about furman writing again. its not that i dislike his stuff in any way, its just that he never seems to do anything fresh in my opinion. its still a bit 'marvel comics' for my liking... so... obvious...

I like Simon Furman- he brings an old school sense back to the comic license.  He brings the Transformers back to their humble beginnings, while maintaining a certain freshness.  Also, I find Simon Furmann's writing quite dark, a mood I like for the Transformers franchise.

Glad the license was picked up.  Can't wait for new TF comics.  It has been a killer wait to see more new comics on the shelves.

i do like furman... i was enjoying the war within thoroughly, but it just feels that his storys, while 'dark', seem to lack a sense of adventure these days. maybe its because he's not really had a good long run on a book for a while that his doesn't seem to have really moved on in his style in 10 years...

I just wish they'd wrap up Energon.  That's killing me.

You people know how I feel about Furman...I'd like to see Don teamed up with a new writer, and get a new G1 series out of the damned thing

this isnt happening fast enough, i need my TF comics NOW

*hops in time machine*

I can wait. I'm still a tad unhappy with how the second story arc turned out...so I can definitely hold off on the G1 comics until they get someone who can write in a non-fanboyish fashion.

I want Beast Wars now....

oh yeah, you also need somebody who knows something about TF's...we might as well start our OWN comic company.
