TO me the Faction symbles resemble the Head of a member the faction the Symble represents

Decepticon: Soundwave

G2 Autobot: Optimus Prime

G2 Decepticon: G2 Smokescreen

My First Transformer: Truck

Maximal: Cheetor

Predacon: Waspinator

Blendtron: Elephorca, or BWNeo Unicrons Torso

BW Maximal: Cheetor

Vehicon: Megatron's mask

Dinobots: Triceradon

Micron: ML Unicrons Head

 

Is this Intentional or mearly a quencidenc?

Unicron and the Micron logo was definatly intentional!

How do the Micron logo and Unicron's head look at all similar? Sorry, but I just don't see it. Can somebody post comparison pics?

You want overanalyzation. Take a look at the Maximial symbol, then put it side by side with the decepticon. To me they look very similar... almost as if maybe the Maximals decended from the Decepticons and NOT the autobots.  You can even say the same with the Autobot symbol and the Predicon symbol. Sorta makes you think about the gap between G1 and Beast Wars.

 

By the way, the Maximial symbol was represented in the battle mode mask/ mutant head of gorrial Optimus Primal.
